As a pillar of Hardin County and it's wonderful communities as a whole, we have firsthand experience to help guide policymakers as they tackle problems that are faced by our residents. We are dedicated to being good stewards of the time, resources, and staff available to make a difference. We work with United Way Worldwide to create a unified voice on specific policy issues. For additional policy work, we maintain a strong stance of support for the work already being done by other community-minded leaders and organizations collectively.
Our Priority Issues include:

Our Priority Issues include:
- HEALTH | We are committed to being advocate for access to affordable, quality healthcare, and investment in public health resources. This helps address rising health costs and addressing conditions that can lead to underlying health issues. Physical, mental, and emotional care resources are always needed and is a basic human right. Having access to these skilled staff, doctors, and facilities when called upon is crucial.
- EDUCATION | We are committed to being advocates for learning opportunities. This includes early childhood education through post-secondary opportunities. Education serves as a tool to break the cycle of poverty and helps contribute to a stronger future for learning, empowerment, and employment.
- FINANCIAL STABILITY | We are committed to being advocates for financial stability. This includes supporting policies that helps promote financial stability and strengthen a family's financial outlook. We work to help remove predatory loan practices that impact the impoverished and the unbanked the most. Education around good financials is crucial. From obtaining better credit scores, managing money, and finding safe, affordable housing are all a part of the solution that makes our community prosper.
